Anyone who is concerned about traveling to a country should go to either the World Health Organization web site at http://www.who.int annd search for the particular country and travel (for Cuba the url is http://www.who.int/country/cub/en/)

or

http://www.cdc.gov/travel/ and type in the name of the region.

Malaria pills will works despite the CLL.

Hepatitis B vaccine may work but a proportion of patients with CLL wil be unprotected. Nobody has done an experiment with hepatitis B but with other common vaccines the % responding is between 0 and 50%. The trick using ranitidine that I have already written about (See Professors' Postings) might work, but has not been tested experimentally
